A Photo Journey Around New Zealand
The thing that took my breath away about New Zealand? The vibrancy everywhere. Whether it be trees, grass, flowers or water - it's simply greener, grassier, brighter and bluer.
The lakes, the ocean, flora, birds and even the sheep are all mesmerizing.
Trees have always brought me peace, grounded me in the moment. With the ability to heal each other, humans and the world in general - a testament to their symbolism across millennia. They are my passion in creating impressionist art especially.
I was completely awed by the real thing and in some chose to simply capture the magnificence - feeling an overwhelming sence of peace and awe.. Others offer the artistic impression of what I saw beyond the obvious.
As a photographer one can get too focused (pun intended) on the perfect photo. Photography for me is about the moment, the memory and the story being relived through my photos.
All are created in camera to represent what was right there in front of me and what I could imagine. I hope you enjoy them all!
